Isn’t it funny how things can suddenly start to snowball.
I’ve been trying to find the website “An Outline History of the Radar and Radio Installations at Truleigh Hill” written by Sqn Ldr T Howard Toon BA CertEd MBCS CISP RAFVR(T) back in late 1999.

Sadly it’s only available via the Internet Archive, but, I’ve emailed Sqn Ldr Toon to see if he would like to host it here. Some of the images on the archive are missing, and it’s such a shame to let it go to waste.
As I was discussing with Craig Bulman on the phone earlier. These are important parts of our history and their existence should be preserved somewhere.
I’ll guess I’ll have to wait and see if there’s a response. If not there’s a nice little disclaimer on the website;
Please note that all the material, photographs and text, is copyright property of the author except for those few items marked otherwise. Anyone wishing to make use of this material for educational or personal purposes is welcome to do so, free of charge, provided the copyright is acknowledged.

Hi there.
I’m excited.
In fact I’m very excited.
I’ve just bought part of my childhood on ebay.
I’ve just managed to get hold of 1 of 3000 copies ever made of CHiPs Volume 1, featuring the music of CHiPs.

The CHiPs Volume 1 CD Cover
Now, how exciting is that
I can’t wait for it to arrive.
