Earlier today a friend and I went to the London Transport Museum in Covent Garden for a nosey around and yet another photo taking mission.
This visit was a bit more exciting, as not only was I hangover free but I also wanted to visit “The Art of The Poster” exhibition, as I’m a huge huge fan of the Underground posters (so much in fact that I have 3 of them on the walls in my flat).
Not a lot more can be said about it really, other than I did buy myself some hi-vis stuff, now that I’m back out on the bike again.

Here are a few photo’s of the day out.

I love that table – it would look really good in the flat. I do feel however that if it were for sale, it would be well out of my budget!

A lovely Routemaster bus. Reminds me of On The Buses (cue singing “It’s a great life on the buses“).
On The Buses

That should keep my bus driver friends happy
There’s more photos of the visit on my flickr page

This morning I woke up, got out of bed and started on my idea for some inspirational blogging.
Then I realised I didn’t, I was still asleep but dreaming I had woken up.
When I finally did wake up, I went back to sleep again as I already knew what was going to happen.
Life can be like that sometimes.
Here’s the start of the book of inspirational ideas

As you can see it’s really coming on a treat.

I’m feeling a bit apathetic at the moment.
Nothing is inspiring me to write.
I’ve tried to fight my apathy but, to be honest, I can’t be bothered.
Once something exciting happens I’ll be sure to write about it, but until then I will just keep hiding in my secret hideaway.

..or not as the case actually is.
Sorry for the unexpected absence from here, you see I’ve had an issue with Orange (yes the same Orange that we love to hate).
I took over an account when I moved, and provided them with all of the information they would need, including the new telephone number that BT had given me. They then wrote back to me confirming that they had updated the account and everything was sorted.
For 3 days I had broadband access, then suddenly it stopped for no apparent reason.
I phoned Orange Technical Support (50p per minute) and after 10 minutes or so was told there was a line fault on my BT line. I was told to leave my PC on for 24-48 hours and it would be sorted.
3 days later I phoned up again, at 50p per minute, to ask what was going on as it still wasn’t working. They then told me that the telephone number on the account was wrong, and that I needed to go through the moving home process. No matter how much I explained that I HAD given them the new telephone number and THEY had written to me confirming the details, and that this was THEIR mistake, they continued to blame me, saying that I needed to do the moving home process.
So I did,
and then I was told it would be at least another 2 weeks before my service was back online. When I challenged this saying it was THEIR fault, they didn’t even apologise. They did however advise me that there was a line fault and that this could be something to do with it.
THE LINE FAULT WAS SHOWING UP BECAUSE THEY HADN’T UPDATED THE TELEPHONE NUMBER CORRECTLY AND THEY WERE TESTING THE OLD LINE WHICH WAS NOW DISCONNECTED – DOH!
Anyway, a week and a bit later, and after more phone calls I am finally back online again (thank God for that) and can start doing stuff again.
