I finally got round to collecting my deck, tape player and old vinyl today from the storage it was in, and oh my word I tell you, I’ve never had so much fun.
I’ve been playing out non stop cheese from the 70’s and 80’s all afternoon. In fact it’s given me an idea – I should do a one off anorak pod-cast on the site, playing the classic scratchy records I inherited as a child for my first record player and those charity shop favourites. Leave that one with me.
I’ve taken a few photos for you to reminisce over.

Some More Obscure Records
Welcome to music corner. That was Kenny Loggins and Footloose from the 1984 WEA Records release “The Hits Album” and coming up next The Murgatroyd Band and Magpie, from the 1972 Decca album “The World Of TV Themes” (an album which is older than me!) …. oh I can picture it now.
I just need some jingles to go with it

Here’s another pic celebrating the life of vinyl from Woolworths. A now very rare sample I suggest.

Woolworths Price Label
I’m sure they’ll be more posts of this nature coming soon! Especially as I have a lot of charity shops near Nick Packham HQ.
Here’s a couple of tunes you may like to listen to in the privacy of your own home.
Enjoy!
