Dave Cash Pirate Radio Special

Tuesday 31 March 2009

It seems that Dave Cash is just as excited as I am about The Boat That Rocked. His  BBC Kent show which was broadcast across the South on what is now BBC Sussex (but was then BBC Southern Counties Radio), on Saturday 28th March was a pirate radio special.

It’s a fantastic show, featuring the music, radio, ads from the 1960’s offshore radio days, and even has an interview with Tony Benn who was the Postmaster General back in those days, and who passed the Marine Offences Act.

You’ve only got a few more days to listen, before it disappears off of the BBC iPlayer.  Here’s the link http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/p002jkhs/Dave_Cash_Saturday_28_03_2009/ .

Enjoy listening to it, I have :)

Come to Hove

Tuesday 31 March 2009

The sun is out, the sea looks lovely glistening in the sunlight and everybody’s in a good mood. The bars of George Street are busy with people sitting outside with their afternoon beer, girls are walking around in their short denim skirts and blokes are walking into lamposts, like Rowan Atkinson, because they’re not paying attention to what their doing.

Welcome to Hove.

Lovely Hove.

Here’s a couple of quickly knocked up posters celebrating Hove.

It’s given me an idea for a video…. so hold that thought, and it’ll be on here soon.
