I’ve gone a bit CHiPs mad in the last couple of days. Having watched it as a kid, I forgot how good it was until my series 2 DVD arrived. So while it’s been nice and sunny outside, I’ve been inside watching Jon, Ponch and falling in love with Sindy.
So, to reflect the CHiPs marathon, I thought I’d write a little piece on it.
Not only do I have the soundtrack to Season 2 from 1978 to 1979 but I also now have the accompanying Season 2 on DVD. You can be assured that there’ll be lots of “L.A. seven Mary Four, Code 4 on the Adam Two Five Nine, I need an 11-48 and a tow truck” coming in conversations soon!

Meanwhile, here is something you might like, if you’re also a CHiPs or CHP fan.
It’s the CHP CAD Log, updated as new incidents come in. Such a shame we don’t do something like this over here, so that we’d have up to the minute traffic reports. Now all I need to find is a corresponding scanner feed from the US, and i’ll be back to the days of working in a comms room
