Doesn’t time fly when you’re having fun?! That’s how the saying goes anyway, and it probably accounts for why I haven’t written anything or done anything on here for such a long time.
In the great British tradition of drinking tea and talking about the weather, it’s taken a cup of tea and the weather to give me something to write about.
We’re being battered down here on the coast with strong winds and generally crappy, shitty weather. Earlier on, well about 30 minutes ago I thought I’d be brave and head down to the beach to take some photos of the sea and the beach during the “storm”.
This was the only photo I managed to take. It was so windy it took my breath away and nearly blew me over. The weather’s now got a lot worse, it’s chucking it down with odd hail showers. I managed to make a short video before I had to give up. It’s rather noisy so turn your speakers down!
According to the BBC Weather Website the current speed and stuff is;
- Wind: SW 46mph 74km/h
- Hum: 87%
- Press: 992mB
- Vis: Poor
Funny thing is, while I’ve been writing this and uploading the video etc everything seems to have calmed down again, for the moment.
